Cedar Ridge Daycare is a family child care home led by owner and director Melissa Soliz. Our smaller setting means children are known, their rhythms are noticed, and families have a consistent person to partner with.
We welcome infants through school-age children in a warm, organized home environment built around safety, play, and dependable routines.

Before and after school care with homework time and active play; full-day care on non-school days.
Full-day care includes breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Allergy accommodations are made with documentation as needed.
For parents
The practical details, made clear.
Communication
Daily in-person updates and, when available, the Littles Notebook app can cover meals, naps, diapers or toileting, activities, and notes. Melissa will call or text right away for injury, illness, or emergency.
What to bring
Please provide labeled spare clothes, diapers and wipes as arranged, bottles or breast milk/formula as applicable, outerwear and sunscreen, and a comfort item for rest (not for infant cribs).
Arrival, pickup & illness
Families sign children in and out. Children are released only to authorized adults; ID may be requested. Parents are notified when a child cannot participate or shows contagious symptoms.
Positive guidance & safe sleep
We use positive guidance only — never corporal punishment, humiliation, food withholding, or abusive language. Infants sleep on their backs unless there are written medical orders, on a firm mattress without loose bedding or soft toys.
Tuition & hours
Lock in today’s rates.
Missouri licensing is in progress. Families who request a spot now can start at current tuition; rates will rise after the license is approved. Care is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM.

$100 enrollment deposit · $50 yearly supplies · Tuition is due each Friday whether present or absent. Late pickup: $5 after pickup time, plus $1 per minute. Part-time and daily care: contact Melissa. Child care subsidy will be accepted after licensing is approved.
